This is in my friend's garden in South Wales. It obviously hasn't been used in years and each time I go there it's a little more dilapidated - I fear it will collapse shortly!
Yes, a picture that could evoke some memories and feeling - an image of melancholy and of some symbolism - "der verwunschene Garten unserer Kindheit" - I like the 'Schaukel' and the scenery very much- and never it should be dilapidated or vanish! Blackdog could make a fine b&w photo of it.
Thanks Philine. I like the idea of the enchanted garden of our childhood, now grown old and melancholy. I have in fact done a black and white photo of this a few years ago http://anniedog.shutterchance.com/image/2008/11/16/melancholy-swing/
That is totally stunning! Where do you find such beautiful things?
